I attended Newmedica for laser treatment on my left eye yesterday March 15th 2023. The staff were very friendly and kind, the place was easy to find, with plenty of parking spaces. Check up

Had a check on owing to a floater in my right eye. I was subject to a full check and a helpful explanation by Simon. Thankfully all was well. Very impressive set up with a fantastic camera showing great detail. Took no time at all and available on the NHS. Would recommend everybody to use this optometrist.

Efficient Service

Care during Corona virus

Simon came in specially to see me despite the Corona lock down. I needed my eye pressures testing following surgery for a detached retina. I am so grateful for the amazing treatment I have received from him and would recommend him very highly .

NHS Minor Eye Care Service

Excellent customer Service, an appointment was organised the same day. Thorough examination of my eyes that left me feeling totally reassured. Staff are helpful and professional. This service saved me having to wait a long time for a doctors appointment.

Eye test

I was experiencing a problem with my right eye over the last couple of days, particularly worried due to the fact I am a carer for my wife who is also blind.Rang Simon Kleyn and got an appointment for the same day , he was very professional and with the latest technology he soon put me at ease and explained the problem and not to worry, Will definitely return for regular checkups.

Excellent Service

An appointment was given the day after I telephoned for an appointment. I found Mr Kleyn's receptionist very helpful and understanding. I found Mr. Kleyn to be extremely kind and patient. He explained the examining process and was professional and reassuring regarding my problem. He invited me to ring for another appoinment if I needed further advice.

Extremely red eye

Eye examination

Went for a eye examination today, fantastic service got a Referral hospital Appointment for the following day. Thank you so much.

Eye injury

Saw Simon as part of the NHS commissioned eye condition service after suffering extreme discomfort overnight. Simon examiner my eye, established I had an abrasion and treated with antibiotic gel. Excellent and reassuring service!

Eye Care

I had previously been under Simon's care at his Earls Colne practice for ongoing eye problems. More recently I experienced dry eye and blurring. Knowing Simon had a practice in Frinton (I have recently moved nearby) I had no hesitation in contacting Simon to see if he could help. I was able to be examined within the MECS scheme and as expected I received a first class service. Simon treats his patients with care and respect, taking time to explain about the individuals eye care needs. Although the shadow of Covid-19 still looms large I felt very safe during my access to the practice, time in the waiting area and during my examination. Well done Simon and team, you set the bench mark.

Phoned after being referred by GP. Appointment same day. Simon checked my bloodshot eye, and explained exactly what the problem was. Brilliant service. Thankyou.
